Our Mission & Vision

Our mission is to improve the lives of cats and people in Tioga County, Pennsylvania through TNR (trap, neuter/spay, vaccinate, return) of feral cats and spay/neuter of pet cats.

We envision a world where no cats are homeless or suffering due to overpopulation while co-existing peacefully and safely with humans.

Our Values

1.      Integrity

We act with integrity in everything we do and promise to run the organization with the utmost honesty and transparency.

2.      Perseverance

We won’t give up. Animal rescue and population control are a tough tasks, but we’re committed to helping the cats in Tioga County no matter what challenges we face or how long it takes.

3.      Sustainability

We value the Earth and its resources and will act in accordance to make our actions and fundraisers as sustainable and environmentally friendly as possible.

4.      Leadership

As Tioga County’s first nonprofit dedicated solely to cat spay/neuter, we’re leading the movement and promise to share our knowledge and resources with other groups as we’re able in order to do the most good.

5.      Dedication

Our founders are dedicated to the cause and to acting upon these Values. The organization works with people who are just as dedicated to the cause in their hearts and minds, not necessarily in the time or resources they can commit.

6.      Compassion

Though we're committed to our advocacy on behalf of TNR and for the welfare of all animals, we also attempt to fully understand each situation before taking action or making recommendations. We strive to approach each individual situation with compassion and empathy.
